I loved the very comfortable bed and enjoyed the great water pressure in the shower, making my stay cozy and relaxing while being just a short walk from the scenic Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge and the charming Old Saybrook Town Green.

The location is great, situated near shops and a public beach, offering scenic views, especially with trains passing by. The friendly staff contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and the housekeeping maintains cleanliness, although there were complaints about room conditions during previous stays. A notable downside was the completion of necessary room upgrades, with reports of food trash in rooms and stale smoke odors. Additionally, responsiveness to guest needs could improve significantly.

Had an awesome time with my friends! We visited the theater and caught a fantastic performance. Rooms were comfy and clean. The park nearby was fun with plenty of activities. Just a heads up, breakfast wasn't available when we thought it would be, so maybe plan for that.

One downside was that they started working on solar panels early, which interrupted our sleep.

the super 8 was super convenient for our wedding since it was close to the venue. the room was clean and at a reasonable price. a highlight was taking a quick trip to rocky neck state park nearby.

The Deluxe Double Room was pretty comfy. The bed had a nice firm but plush mattress, and the pillows were great. I liked that the room was clean and quiet too! Good water pressure in the shower, which is always a plus. AC worked fine and wasn't loud at all. It had all the basics like a fridge and microwave. Really felt safe as a solo traveler, which is important. The staff was super nice, too!

We were excited to stay but ran into issues right away. Arrived super late and couldn’t find anyone to check us in! Tried calling for help but no luck. After a long drive, just wanted to crash. On the plus side, the room was clean when we finally got in. Definitely needs better service. Oh, and no breakfast either.

The location was decent and the woman at the front desk was really nice like I mean who doesn’t appreciate a little kindness during a stressful time and the beds were comfortable enough for a night's sleep though the memories of those screams from next door won't leave my head anytime soon
